We also do not recommend clear aligners for patients with major orthodontic issues. Plastic aligners simply cannot exert the same strength that metal brackets and wires can. If you are not a good fit for clear aligners, you do have other options when it comes to discreet orthodontics. Ceramic braces can be tooth-hued or clear and are much less noticeable than metal.
